I've been away in the Netherlands on training and volunteer work however I actually got to play ball with two college teams. I was invited to play on their league if I paid for the beer. So I didn't know how much it was and figured it cant be that bad right?

Uhmmmmm yeah ok...... $100.00 USD per night 3 nights a week. After the first week, I explained I was going to have to get government aid. My team mate and explained -- they meant I had to pay for my own beer not theirs however, when I offered three times in a row they thought it was tradition.

Hence the Funny American comment I was subject to for 3 months.
