A barrell roll like when an airplane barrel roll. Happens when a pitcher (screwball) knuckle's and spins the ball. In other word's it like a football spinning wounded duck but since the ball is round and stuff, the magnus and bernouli effects are enacted and it's possible to barrell roll the ball or screwball. It's a barrell roll becuase the ball never comes back up like a screwball in theory. You can achieve it with a volleyball becuase it's bigger and run's into more air resistance, but rarely would it ever land in the court even if you do achieve the effect. Just the same in how a volleyball can spin but yet exhibit a wobbly effect.
