Easy fundraisers;

Have every guy one the team list 10 people that are most likely to donate money. Then print out a letter on your school lab computers that is semi-personalized explaining who is asking for money and what it will be used for. "We are looking to compete in nationals etc etc, we need uniforms etc etc" Things like this can go a long way with family members and close family relatives, businesses etc. It's a good way to bang out a possible 100 donations (assuming you have atleast 10 guys). A good way to ensure these is MANDATE 10 names/addresses from each kid. They can always add more. Then have a pizza party and stuff the envelopes and write the names down, have everyone sign them etc.
If you do this correctly you can get almost all the materials free (stolen?) from labs on campus etc.

Hold a charity poker game, 50% goes to winners etc etc...

Hold minitournaments - 5 teams at 150$ and try to get donated court time.

Hold a king of the hill tournament - or a "challange our team in doubles" - $5 a pop, we've done this at spring carnival and made a ton before...

Sell dippin` dots - they normally buy back what you don't sell so it's all profit.

50/50 - Make a lot of money doing these

Charity parties - you can get function halls donated sometimes, combine with a 50/50, date auction, auctions, raffles, byob and leave us your cans, cover charges etc...

Crappier things;

Sign up credit cards... It sucks, you feel like a bastard doing it - but it makes money. If your a smooth talker, or a good scum bag, you can make a lot of money like this.

Get a restaurant to let you rent them out for a night, and you can fill it/sell tickets etc etc.
