I think of baseball where all players (except AL pitchers) need to know how to hit, bunt, run the bases, catch, and throw. Well, I see your baseball reference, but look at the pitchers who get traded from AL to NL (Zito). They get screwed into things they don't know and look atrocious trying to do something they can't proficiently do.

It's the same thing with hitters, passers, setters and just on a personal level. If I want to improve myself as a volleyball player/coach, I want to know every detail about the game.

I'm going to class, I'll put more stuff in later.
