Oct 20 is my Rocky Point Mexico beach volleyball tournament. 80 teams of coed 4's in 4 different competition categories, playing true beach volleyball. About 375 games will play between 9AM and 6PM on 16 courts simultaneously. Player party on Friday night and taking over the whole town of Rocky Point is the draw. 320 players and that many more friends, spouses, and family members descend upon the sleepy town for this weekend.
This tournament is played in mid October and again in mid April every year for the last 15 years. Teams come from AZ, CA, NV, TX, CT and NY to party and play. Every tournament has a separate theme for which team names must represent.
