I only say this from a blocking standpoint - your middle hitters should also in turn be your best blockers - and setters are usually a little weaker in that regard - especially if you have a girl setting.

Your middle has to lead or follow the setter unless you're planning on running a rotation where there are two middles in the front row and if they're anything like me, that would be just too much greed for one front row.
