Not sure if the line ups are based on males or females. Some feel it doesn’t matter, but I think when the MH follow the setter in the female’s game the slide become a very effective offense. This is my preference when coaching females. Once the slide becomes a serious threat, this opens up the shoot outside and setter dump as an attacking option. The #1 blocker should be next to the setter normally, but the coach needs to decide if using the slide over the blocking for the rotations the setter is in the frontrow.

Note: If running a 5-1the #1 OH should start in the 4 or 3 position and the swing offense should be used.
