I'm sure there are alot of women on here who think you are a moron for that comment. I'm one of the many guys here who think you are a moron.
Winner of best argument ever.

yeah i mean congrats one HIGH SCHOOL coach in effin CT. does a good job. thats just cause all they do over there is cow tip so there is no competition. i agree that a woman could be a good coach at a certain level...but, youre not gonna find a team of 12 guys that actually thinks that, so she will never be successful.

You give me an example of 1 good coach, i'll give you 2 examples of bad coaches.
1. My current coach. She has led colleges (womens teams) to titles, club won blah blah, women jibber jabber. Great. eprops to her. Her only problem is focusing too much on certain things. High school is different than college. In college it is "how high can you jump, how hard you can hit, how big of a block you can put up". Our coach focuses on defense instead of actually putting the ball down. Don't get me wrong, when i was coaching JV/Frosh at the high school level, that's what my main focus was. But in college, with weight programs, and the male mentality, a woman should not be the coach.

2. When I was coaching at the high school, I led the team of sophomores to 22-7 (.758) and first in the league with 2 tournament wins. With a team of 10, only 2 had ever played before. I declined the spot of varsity coach they offered me so I could come to so. cal to play. They gave it to a woman. No weight programs, no plyometrics, no conditioning. Same players, 2 years later as seniors. Same teams they played, same league, same opponents. Their finishing record was 14-17(.451). I see a little decrease in efficiency.
Too many emotions were involved in who played. If someones parent's were in the audience, she played there kid. There was no "play to win mentality", which is extremely important in this level of play.

Talking with numerous friends of my who have played/currently play D1 and professional volleyball (male and female), all agree unanimously that women should not coach mens volley. I know on the court, I am scoffed upon, "look at that team, they're being coached by a girl". I'll think of more later, but I'm mad tired.

If you're going to call me a moron, do so in PM, that statement was out of line. I'm just here to voice my opinion, not be called names.
