Here's a little something of how Central went down. They messed up though because it was a "they win-we win- situation"..

So we won against Haverhill. Ugh. Serve's out of whack. I need to practice serving in practice, on the game net. Yuck.

It was gross. Four of our Varsity players weren't there because they were saying goodbye to their Spanish Exchange Students. So our coaches made up a game plan to let one of our managers play. (She's a Freshman, by the way.) And the four eventually did get there before the start of the first game, but our coach already handed in the line up. The manager did pretty good. She even got an ace. Good for her.

So yeah, we got beat (11-25) in the first game. Pretty good. I actually got to set (but the pass wasn't there most of the time...) The rotation was all out of whack. One of our outsides/right sides played middle, the manager was confused, etc...etc.. JEEZ!! The other team must have been thinking 'This team beat Central Catholic?' Haha. Then we won the last three matches. Uhm. They were pretty close. 25-22/I forget/26-24. Disgustingly close.

I got to see my friend from Haverhill though! She was on my JOs team. That was pretty sweet. She was also one of the captains so when we went to introduce ourselves for the coin-toss, we shook hands and said our names in a funny, "I know you," sort of way. The lady ref laughed and said, "Aw, they know each other."

I miss her.

We wore our spandex for the first time (us Varsity). Since we have a boy, we decided to wear shorts for home games and spandex for away. Too bad we were dumb and decided to pick ROYAL BLUE for the color. (I wanted navy blue!!!) Can someone say SWASS?

Yeah, thanks.

Next game is at Lawrence.
