Do girls set different than guys - 10-30-2007, 05:24 PM

ive noticed that girls set a bit different than men. is there a reason for this?

oh, just a side note. does anyone know any good dvds on setting? since i have no coach and the guys who i play with are too damn cocky to teach me, i have no way of learning the proper setting technique.

I'm not sure if guys set differently from girls...I've never been very good at it myself. There's a nice little video about setting on sportskool.com where Misty May teaches proper setting technique that might help you out. Here's the link: Setting There are also some other short videos on there if you're interested.

I have no clue. I'd guess it's more individual than gender related. I don't even know how I set. Although I apparently do something that isn't the norm. I need to get video taped.
