Does anyone have or used jump-soles. From what i heard they are a great way to improve your vertical jump. I'm still debating on if i should buy them.

No more cast, no more crutches, no more wheel chair, and yes more volleyball!

Mr. Owl, how many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?

I've had & used them in the past. If you strictly follow the workout program that they give you, they are effective.

But, I didn't find them to be any MORE effective than a good jump training program that didn't use the shoes though.

Several people here could likely advise you on a jump training regimen that wouldn't cost you anything. I'll try and post mine later tonite.

Yeah, no real quick fix to long term improvements in jumping ability that won't result in injuries or diminished performance over time. I've got an article to post here that I just need to clean up a bit, been real busy, hope to get to it soon. Bottom line - it takes hard, and smart work. I've heard of people having some short term results with jump soles, I have heard that they do dimimnish and have lead to some injuries.

I suggest you go with this particular program. The Vertical Bible is the premiere vertical jump program on the market right now. Athletes that have used this have increased there vertical to up to 18 inches. The results for this have been ridiculous. View the website and the Testimonials

Right on the money B-Scott. There are some excellent articles on there and the book is going to be my next purchase. It is someone who knows what they are talking about because they don't advocate a quick solution - hard, smart work that leads to real results. It's the same principals I've used in my training over the past year and I'm laying my testimonial down here - it works.
