you size up everyone you meet as a potential teammate/opponent.

you spike a piece of trash into a trash can instead of shooting it.

you refuse to be the first person in line but demand to be the second person in line because "that's just how it works" (applies to setters only).

everytime you see something falling to the floor, you dive for it.

you confess to your tailor that you don't know your suit size, but you can tell him your vert.

you can't figure out Pass Interferance or Icing, but only being allowed to sub a player three times per game make perfect sense.

you consider setting a performance art, because there is nothing more beautiful then the perfect set.

you thought Gabbie Reece was hot before anyone else.

you name your first born "Karch."

And the number one reason...

in your mind, flower-print board shorts will NEVER go out of style!

...you'd skip the NBA Finals' Game 7 to play at a tournament.

...you have considered naming your twin children Tachi and Kara, or your son Karch.

...you have considered spending $125 on net antennae just in case you play in a gym that didn't have them.

...you have went running in the sand hoping to improve your vert.

...you have ever laughed at Nike's attempt to make a volleyball .

...you post at this forum more often than you update your own website.

...you wonder why the major stations won't broadcast professional matches during prime time.

...you have a shelf dedicated to back-issues of Volleyball Magazine.

...you have named that shelf.

...You've slept with a volleyball like it was a teddy bear.

...You own more than 2 pairs of knee pads

...somebody mentions volleyball and your head pops up

...you thought it was cool that in Castaway Tom Hanks was talking to a vball

...somebody asks you what your big plans for the summer are and you say VOLLEYBALL!!!

...you get excited to read the newest "Midwest Volleyball Warehouse" or other volleyball supplies and gear magazines

...you wear shirts that say, "friends don't let friends cheerlead" or "my boyfriend wanted me to choose between him and volleyball...let's play ball" :P

...you can't remember birthdays but you know where you'll be for the next month's worth or weekends.

...you family never has to ask where you've been when they look at you clothes and see sand or grass stains.

...your living area looks as if it was decorated by the AVP.

...you have actually read volleyball books.

...you have read Arie Selinger's book (let alone know who he is).

...you wore the rooster hair cut because Timmons was your idle.

...you remember a women's indoor professional league in the US before there was a USPVL.

...you have one bag for your clothes and another for all your balls.

...you know how to tape yourself.

...you can walk on the sides of your feet because your ankles have been sprained so many times.

...you have considered hiring a personal chiropractor for your back. (A proper volleyball stance equals poor posture!)

...it's a tough decision between food and volleyball, because if you choose food then you won't be able to play volleyball afterward.

...you have permanent court-burn scars.

...you kill time in class drawing stick figures playing volleyball.

...you have dreamt of playing volleyball on the moon.

...you can accurately pace off 9 meters.

…When entering an empty gym you look for the volleyball lines.

...you've EVER tried setting a volleyball into a basketball hoop.

...you've EVER tried it more than 3 consecutve times from the 3 point line.

...you deflate your ball if you're bringing it on a plane.

...you block the beginners, just to show'em a little sump'n.

-you marry someone who plays volleyball, open up a vball club, and raise your volleyball children who all get scholarships to some schools on volleyball.

-you only have romantic feelings for people who do volleyball.

-you wear long socks with all your regular clothes.

-you feel naked with out your kneepads.

-you think spandex is essential to every outfit.

-when you make a song dedicated to volleyball.

-you tell your coach you "accidentally" lost your team uniform and you can't give it back, but you secretly have a shrine to it in your closet.

-you think about volleyball more than anything.

-you have a volleyball tatoo.

-your emails/screenames for aim, yahoo, msn etc all have something to do with volleyball.

$125 net AND antennas a LITTLE Conservative!!! What is that for a kids starter set. I think twice that for a semi-decent net/Antenna set
