Championships Format? - 03-19-2008, 11:35 AM

Does anybody know the format for the D1 Championships? I know Saturday is pool play, and Sunday is playoffs, but does anyone know the specifics? Or at least how it has run in the past?

With 10 teams and how it has been run in the past, I believe Saturday is pool play with two pools of 5. The last place team in each pool goes home after Saturday and the remaining 8 play on Sunday in a single elimination format. This is how I remember it.

I second that. From what I remember in D2, the top 8 teams will have the opportunity play on the second day. In case of tie, USAV rules will apply.
