Hey fellas,
just wanted to see how everyone fared last weekend. All our games were in the morning every day so we didn't get a chance to see too many of the other NECVL teams play all that much.
As far as our performance, we were a completely different team out there than we were for most of NECVL play. We came back in a lot of spots that we hadn't been throughout the year and played at a much higher level. Our seniors Matt Shaun and Josh all played out of their minds and the players we have coming back next season all stepped up in our big games on Friday against Iowa and Florida. We finished losing in the first round of the Gold bracket which was higher than our pre-tournament ranking had us but we definitely are right on the brink of pushing forward and making a serious run in the upcoming years.

Also thanks to the Fairfield team that supported us in our second match (which was a tiebreaker) against Florida that we got down 21-16 and finished on a 9-2 run to win the match and they were getting just as excited as we were down the stretch which was great to see. Hopefully everyone had as good a time as we did down there and I look forward to next season

We, Yale, played below average volleyball for most of the tourney. We placed 19th/20th and went into the tourney ranked 9th. More or less, I felt like we could/should have done much better.

Congrats UNH. You guys made a legitimate run. Again, I wish we could have played during the regular season.

Volleyball aside, I had a fricken blast.
