Post SCSU Club volleyball - 02-11-2008, 12:28 PM

Hi,
I am trying to start a club team at Southern to be ready for the fall and I just want to spread the word a little, so if anyone who posts on this forum goes to southern or knows anyone that goes to southern who would be interested in joining, the help would be appreciated. You can just reply here or contact me through email at scsuclubvb@yahoo.com.

Thanks,

Kevin Lauder

Dammit!

Why are my old schools adding programs well after I'm gone? First UNH, now Southern.

Kevin, do you play in the area now? There are a lot of CT ballers on this forum.

You know my first reaction to this post was...

Hmmm... I was looking for somewhere to do my Masters. The extra teaching certificate SCSU tacks on to a MA in Math was outside of my scope, but with the chance to play ball.... Hmmm... A teaching certificate can't hurt.

Matt?

Well, although I would like to have as many players with experience as possible play, I had a meeting with student life on wednesday and for some reason or another they dont allow graduate students to play club sports here. I specifically asked him about it and he said the club hockey team has been trying to get their graduates on and they wont allow it. Hopefully this will be changed in the future.
