Playoffs 4-6 pm each day
Cost: Free for spectators, $55/team
Prizes: $60,000 total will be awarded during the entire 2007 season including
$6,000 in Clearwater Beach
$2,500 Men’s Open
$2,500 Women’s Open
$1,000 Coed Open, MAA & WAA divisions
Additional prizes from Sarasota Ford, Rider Sandals, Caribbean Tourism Organization, Native Eyewear Sunglasses, Venus USA, Spike Nashbar, Vincere Sports, Iron Horse Bicycles, Dig Magazine, Sweet Tomatoes, Volleyball Magazine, Atlantic City Convention & Visitor’s Authority and Park and Sun Sports will be awarded in the A and B Divisions.
Sanctioning: by AVPNext, the grass roots program of the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour. AVPNext offers tournaments to give playing opportunities for players of all levels to improve their game.

East End Volleyball
The 2007 beach volleyball season will wrap up October 20-21 at Clearwater beach, Florida with the AVPNext/Wilson National Championships. Co-sponsored by Bud light and Native Eyewear, the tournament will attract players from throughout the United States to the white sand beaches across from the Red Roof Inn.
The tournaments will be the 34th tournament in the 35 tournament series promoted by East End Volleyball throughout the East Coast in 2007. The series has awarded over $60,000 cash prizes throughout the season that started March 3 in Florida. Players from over 20 states and Canada are expected to compete for a share of the cash prizes during the AVPNext/Wilson National Championships.
Top players competing include Florida players Steve Grotowski and Mike DiPierro, the best team on the East Coast, and Ihor Akinshyn the best player in the northeast. Also playing will be the top defensive player in the East, Dana Camacho and his partner, AJ Mihalic from Hermosa Beach, CA. Clearwater will be represented by Justin Phips and Matt Henderson.
Top female players will include Rachel & Rebecca Smith, twin sisters who are the best team in the northeast, and Florida stars Chara Harris from Sarasota and Tara Burton from Clearwater . Tara and Chara both played the entire 2007 AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Series finishing as high as 13th place.
The tournaments are sanctioned by AVPNext, the grass roots program of the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour. AVPNext offers tournaments to give playing opportunities for players of all levels to improve their game. Players who really excel can qualify for the AVP Pro Tour through EEVB’s top events.
Players of all skill levels will be eligible for play in the tournament sponsored by Bud Light. There will be divisions for intermediate and novice level events with players competing for merchandise prizes from Wilson volleyballs, the Caribbean Travel Organization, Venus Swimwear, Native Eyewear, Spike Nashbar, Vincere Sand Socks, Rider Sandals, VolleyChick, Park & Sun net Systems, Atlantic City Convention & Visitor’s Authority, and Iron Horse Bicycles..
Tournament play will start at 9 am on Saturday and 10 am on Sunday. Player check in is one hour prior to start time. Men's and Women's Open, A, and B Divisions will play on Saturday. Coed Open, A, and B, 4-player, and Men's A and B teams will play on Sunday. Admission is free for all spectators who are encouraged to come early for a front row seat.
