*_Telluride Ski Bus Fund Benefit Volleyball BBQ_*
Sunday January 20, 2008, a benefit volleyball BBQ will be hosted for the people injured in last Sunday evenings tragic accident of bus 12, coming back to Phoenix from a ski trip to Telluride CO.
It will be held at Victory Lane Sports Park which is located 1/4 mile South of Pinnacle Peak Rd. on 43rd Ave. Picnic hours will be from 9AM until 4PM.
The people of bus 11 and some people from bus 12, will be on hand to prepare burgers and hot dogs while attendees play some pickup volleyball, or hang out and watch. Blind volleyball will be the game for most people's amusement. This is not a formatted tournament, but a light hearted day of fun and socializing, and gathering of donations to help out our friends and families that were affected by this horrific ordeal.
I urge all my friends and their friends, volleyball players or not, to please come out, for 10 minutes or all day, to show your support.
We will have t-shirts for donations of $25 or more, that match the ski group's shirts. This will show your spirit, unity and compassion.
Cash and checks made to Telluride Ski Bus Fund Acct #8453-450879 will be accepted.
