Ain't no thing but a chicken wing - 05-03-2006, 10:21 PM

.... and I busted mine up. Torn tendon in my left elbow will keep me off the court a minimum of another two weeks then I'm in for re-evalutaion. Fortunately I'm a righty, it's not my swinging arm. The doctor said if I was a Major league pitcher he'd take a different route (I don't know wtf that means, but I know I'm serious about ball). So I hope with some rest and maybe some rehab I'll be in good shape.

The tough thing is I was about to play in my first regional championship tournament on the 13th.... now I'll just be 2nd ref'ing and coaching. I'm also scheduled to go to a Pat Powers Clinic the 20th, so I hope I'll be back in actions before then.... and before the June 3rd summer series tournament.

This injury stuff is for the birds.... I should heal quicker than owl though... that's good.... I've got that going for me. (10pts if you can name the movie).

BTW: Tell Mr. Power's Glenn From VBLI is still waiting for his reply to my email 2 weeks ago.

NERT You better get better. I dont want to have to take your spot in the PP clinic. But I will if I have too. Now what are we gonna do for the 13th?

I hate when people get injured. Especially when I am around. I'm afraid I will have to pretend to be an EMT or something. And that's a scary prospect. Sometimes you can't tell if they are just being a wimp or if something is really broken.
