I want to buy a grass / sand ball, anyone have an opinion? Model numbers and manufacture would be helpful.

wilson avp gold.
it is the official ball on the beach. it is also pretty durable and water resistant. stays round too, not like the old top-flites.

I like the AVP but, I think its too comerical.... The Tachikara VB7500 is the best outdoor all around ball in my opinion.

Agreed, the Tachikara VB7500 is one of the more durable balls. I don't like the AVP ball mainly because the two I've had got drizzled on at a game and started to peal. I know their not supposed to get wet, but a few drops of rain and the ball was done.....

I did a bit of research and it seems I'm not the only one that has had this issue. Maybe it was a bad run, or what ever..... Realistically, it does rain at games......

O'well....

HA round it key, square balls are no fun at all.....

No more cast, no more crutches, no more wheel chair, and yes more volleyball!

Mr. Owl, how many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?

wilson avp gold is what i've got too... does keep it's shape well - and easily washes off beach gunk/sand.
