What does renting some indoor court time cost in your area?

City facilities will not even think of renting to the public. They will work with a non-profit org though.

A private gym quoted me $1000 rental for 4 courts for 8 hours.

That's why we built our own sand courts and run beach tournaments. Big plus is that we have the weather for it here.

It all depends on the venue. It's pretty reasonable around these parts. Pickup is $ 2 - $ 3 for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. Pickup is about $ 5 for 3-4 hrs.

Tournaments end up being about $ 20 (between $ 17.50 - $ 25 per player) regardless of whether indoor or outdoor, 2's or 6's.

USAV tourneys are $ 100 - 150 split between 7 +/- 1 players on your team. Friendship tourneys are usually on the lower end, sanctioned tourneys on the higher end & prizes commensurate w/that.

Local NY costs range from $5.00 to $15.00 per person per hour.

I think NERT meant if you wanted to get your own two teams and privately get the court...

One place around here is ~$70/hr I think.

$35 at one facility. http://www.paloscourts.net/court_rentals.htm

I think that the court at my local park district is $30 an hour. Tiny gym & you've gotta set up & take down yourself as well though.

I gotta find out what it is at my local town park and rec center. They have a pretty awesome facility too.
