Dex's Quest for a 2s Partner - 06-14-2006, 08:11 AM

Here it is! It's very own thread! The one and only place for Dex to discuss his quest for an outdoor doubles partner.

All of his thoughts and feelings on the subject can be found here, feel free to add to the topic or even arrange to play with him as he's anxious to meet some people.

PS can one of the admins make a link to this thread part of Dex's signature so that every post he makes can direct people here to talk about Dex's Quest for a 2s Partner? -TIA

Dex,

Why don't you come down around 6 or 7 pm Tuesday night at the Cheshire Sand Court and play 2's with me. I'll be there June 20th. If you look up the Cheshire High School in Cheshire CT for directions, the sand court is right next to the high school, can't miss it. Then you can tell me what level I am for 2's, cause I don't really know.

sorry air diney,i can't make the 1 hour trip from where i am in enfield to cheshire.by the time i get out of work, grab a bite to eat,the traffic going through hartford and cheshire is horrible. probably more than an hour with the dam traffic. i am sure you can't make the trip to enfield. so how about meeting in the middle of cheshire and enfield? would hartford/manchester/east hartford be the middle????? dex
ps, meeting during the weekend possible???? if i am going to travel over an hour, i would like to play at the beach.

Dex, It's only 48 Min from Enfield to Cheshire! LOL of course with traffic... yeah yeah I know it would take an hour probably. But it takes me about 35 to 45 minutes to get to Cheshire and I go at least once a week, for a variety of reasons. FYI- We play till about 10pm when the lights go out.

mycena ,48 minutes? how you know? have you actually driven from enfield to cheshire or cheshire to enfield? besides mycena i have actually driven to cheshire from enfield and back to enfield several times.mapquest.com or randmcnallen are not always right on with their times.directions yes,but not times.anyways mycena,i don't see anybody volunteering to travel where i live in enfield. but i have to travel? sounds like a 1 way street. nobody mentioned coming to where i am in ct. perhaps i wouldn't be so reluctant to travel if someone were to volunteer to come to where i am in ct. as i said mycena, if i am travelling an hour or longer for beach vb i would prefer going to the beach and prefer going during the weekend. i believe having a 2 way street is fair don't you? with the travelling situation. dex
ps,i know you love these. lol 35 to 45 minutes from what part of ct
again? i just think it's fair if i am willing to travel for volleyball then whoever i am playing vb with should be willing to travel too.sounds fair to me. fair to you? well meeting in the middle grounds is a good idea,to me anyways.
