Habanero Championnnnn - 04-29-2006, 05:55 PM

Hey guys,

Just thought you all might be proud to hear I am the reigning champion of the 3rd annual pepper eating contest at a local pizza shop here.

I won the title (and a pair of sick seats to a red sox/yanks game) by eating nine habanero's

God damn those bastards were hot - I've never eaten more than one at a time. I've got pictures and video I'll post soon... Of both the eating, and right after I won - the puking... Made myself puke to get the demons out of me ahahah

Anyone ever eat them? Anyone from the southwest think they could hook me up with some when they come for a tournament? They're hard as hell to find out here...

We'll try to remember to bring some for you Strazz, when we come to NY Jun 3.
The New Mexico one are the hottest.

My Dad puts them on everything, even breakfast.

Myself I do not eat them. I need my lips. And they burn the other end pretty bad too.

Playing til I die,

You've got to remember too not to touch 'sensitive' areas as they will burn too!

Scotch Bonnets are a real hot variation. My ex-boss used to grow them.... hot hot hot!

Insaanneeee?

Nah - it was fun, besides... The chili high I got from those peppers almost outweighed the fact that my body felt like it was internally bleed (though it probably was anyway).

For about 5 hours after the contest I felt drunker than ever, yet I could still mentally appreciate everything that was going on. Gotta love spicy food...
