Hello Everyone,

16 Cobras systems here.
About 20 old nets I use for boundary netting between courts.
And 3 permanent steel cable top and bottoms netted courts on our 3 courts.

See, I have all the balls and you have the nets, it's like peanut butter and chocolate.

I think we should let this one go, what do you think? (Grin).

You bet.
But you are still my hero with that picture of new Tachikaras.

That is the ball I am going to buy for all my tournaments here. It is a great compromise between the new yellow and the traditional Wilson balls.
It's a bit heavier than the yellow for windy conditions, but still lighter than the traditional ball. It has those great handles(raised seams) for setting and taking top and side spin, and being weatherproof, it won't soak up moisture and become heavy or wear out as fast. With the colored panels, it is easy to see when someone throws up a nasty ugly set, and best of all, it is about half the cost of both the Wilson AVPs.
It will be tough to get players to try it and get used to it because "The AVP" is not using it. Yet.

Most players do not realize that the ball the AVP uses is only dictated by what manufacturer steps up to sponsor the tour and provide the balls for the players. If Tachikara steps up, then the price of this ball will go to $60 each so it can carry the AVP logo.

I'm a small time player... I only have three nets - all with wires, and 20 balls

I still have good bbq pool party grass tournaments at my parents house though!

I agree, the Tachikara is the best ball for the price and truthfully I've had nothing but success with the company, products and especially the VB7500. It's just as soft and the Wilson and I personally think better not to mention in some cases $20.00 cheaper.
