i'm at like, 4 this season...and of course they never heal, it just gets re-irritated...this blows.

Get over it Isn't this a normal occurence with everyone? It happens to me all the time. I mean usually they heal real quick just a couple of weeks. My stupid thumb took over a month. But I guess if you are playing every day it would take even longer.

Speaking of... hey Jay you know when you elbowed my hand the other day I think I figured out what happened. I think that that popping sound was your elbow forcing my finger to dislocate and then pop back in. Hand passing is not fun this week.

My best hitter on Monday night A league was back row last week. I was setting, but in defensive position first. Blockers let a real bullet by them. I knicked the ball but never slowed it down. John was low trying to zero in on passing it. It took out his right thumb and severely dislocated it. Looked like a dorsel fin on top of his hand. Paramedics had to be called. Then he was off to emergency. They tried twice to use local anesthetic, but had to put him out to fix him. He now has a cast up to his elbow and is out of service for 3-4 weeks.

it just hurts like a mofo..i gotta ice it every night and the push all the fluids back into my hand. ugh..
