If you're feet hurt when you play then you need new shoes. Why not get good ones. As I mentioned the VB shoes I just got are the best fitting most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.... bar none. I'm very impressed. I'll tell everyone about performance tomorrow night as that's the next time I'll be on the court. Mycena is on my team so she'll know all about it by then.

I have been using the new Addidas Clima Cool Response Lights for the last 6 months. I think they are a great shoe for the comfort and performance. They are light weight and very durable. They are also a little cheaper than Asics or Mizunos.

So I played on them last night. They performed great. I however, did not
VB is a game that's supposed to be played a few seconds into the future and I was a few seconds behind. There's a dude on my team who's tall & athletic but so lethargic when it comes to VB (he's convinced he's terrible) he brings my intesnity level down.

BTT anyone else find that a certain pair of socks just make the shoes fit that much better? I've got a pair of Under Armour socks that are so soft that my feet always slide around the shoe. Sux because they're real comfortable socks, but my cheaper champion socks work much better.

Nike makes volley shoes? And we laugh at their attempts to make a volleyball. Personally, I love my Mizuno Wave Lightning 2's. I had the original Wave Lightnings and was happy when I found out they made a sequel. They are light, they breathe, and super shock absorbent. I got the new ones for around $80 total.

For example regular street sneakers can weight up-wards of 3 pounds a shoe totaling 6 pounds of drag you have to account for when moving or jumping. Volleyball Sneakers weight less the 1 pound each.

Others factors are wear and element exposure which cause arch and support failures on street sneakers.

The bottom line is how important are your ankles or better yet do you want to really be on crutches for 6 -12 weeks?
So now that Sleepy Smurf has convinced me I need a pair of volley sneakers. Any women out there who could suggest a nice pair of ladies sneakers. Not too expensive but still perform well?
