New England Scramble - 10-08-2006, 11:54 PM

OK, so usually I'd post this to the handfull of newengland states but I drove several hours to play out doors and I'm flying several hundred to play this coming weekend. Maybe someone out there would like to drive a couple to play in this fun style tournament.

It's a scramble so teams are made up on site. From what I understand it usually plays out to just about a Yankee C level which would include people who have some tournament experience and are familiar with basic Offense and Defense systems up to people who would play B at the USAV level (some usav B teams from the region include players ranked Yankee C+)

It's a coed tournament that's played on the Men's Height net. It's a great way to meet players from around the area and get some great ball in.

The next one I'm going to is October 29th @ Community College of Rhode Island/ Lincoln. The cost is $20 and you'll have to either join Yankee for the season $32 or pick up a one day membership $15. Play starts at 9:00 and finals usually wrap up around 4 or so. More info on scrambles : http://www.yankee.org/vne/#scramble

Post up if you're interested in joining us. We can even carpool

I'm going to try and make it. I'll know in the next few days if I can.
