Since you play doubles with 3 middles pretty frequently maybe you should clarify which one you are referring too......

Stuff it... Crab defense has no flailing arms and no jumping!

Crab defense is the "Oh crap, I'm not up for the block and I'm not back for the dig so *sheet* I gotta do something but I'm gonna look stupid and have NERT call me out."

I've retired the crab defense and just try to go up for everything.

cameltoe - popping the ball up with the flat part between the knuckles on the outside of your index and middle fingers

We actually played a drunk game last Saturday where all hits had to be cameltoes...

Isn't that a 'moose knuckle'? .... but I digress

Hawaii'n Set: setting with the thumb and forefinger (maybe some help from the middle) with palms facing down hands in front of you.

Tim and I pepper using nothing but 'cameltoes' and hawaii'ns. AND if you use a Hawaii'n backset during a match and it's an assist... you're a god!

I played in a USA Volleyball U20 beach tournament and since there were kids there that were U16 the infamous cameltoe was changed into the cobra

Yeah, around here the cobra is hit using the same part of the knuckles as the cameltoe... but your wrist is all twisted around.

Well the guy had his fingers pointing toward us. He even made it hiss.
