A lot of unwritten rules: In the name of fair play in the spirit of sportmanship.

Open Rec:
*If there are people waiting to play, people on the court should keep score...Not like 20 minutes later and say, "We're still warming up."
*Wait until a game is over, instead of jumping in and messing up the rotations.
*Guys just normally don't block girls.
*Don't try teaching other people how to play volleyball.
*Set to everyone, including the worst player.
*There are no time outs! So don't be stalling!

League:
*Call violations on your side of the court.
*Don't try calling net on your opponents when your teammate was in the net.

Tourney:
*Have a glass of shut up juice or a can of B-Quiet!
*Keeping a steady game pace. Quit stalling.

Shag the Ball!

I agree with 85% of it.... girls should be blocked... especially the ones I play with @ rec ok well at least my wife and Lynn LOL they need to be tought a lesson.

There's a thread somewhere that discusses men blocking women. At rec I agree, unless you know them or they're a real good hitter leave them be. If they're above the plane of the net.. game on!

You're playing in a Men's Tourney. You should be blocked although Sinnamon has some weird timing for the double....

The real question, is, who is the setter, the back left player, and the lines worker? It's like all three of em are standing around.

The shutter speed on that camera must be remarkably fast to catch me looking like I was standing still. Besides look at the height and angle of that shot and the lack of penetration on the block. No worries on that one.
