Well I had to decide which would be more excruciating and aggravating... setting with a messed up elbow or watching and having to hit your sets.

I'm even surprised by my decision. Then again having you run the 4-2 with NERT meant I only had to receive your sets in one rotation. And your 2's in the middle are only 1/10th as aggravating as your outside sets to me.

I need to rehab the elbow quick.

Worst injury....I sprained my ankle when I was in college and had no movement towards my left. I wore an ankle ace and played thru it until the other teams coach realized my limitations and started serving me to my left ........My coach pulled me and I sat out for a 2 weeks.

Bad back - 02-26-2008, 09:59 PM

Well it seems my lower back is not getting any better. Slip disk or something who knows car accidents suck.

I need to start swimming. Maybe that will help with my recovery. At least I am out of the sling now. Time moves on and with it hopefully recovery to play V-BALL AGAIN!

Recent Injury... - 06-25-2008, 06:31 PM

I did this playing without my ankle brace and played 3.75 games like this. Of course I wrapped an ace bandage on it, wore an active ankle complete with butterfly stickers, and popped several pills.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.

Very devoted.

Take care of yourself though. You will need that ankle the rest of your life.

Hopefully some ice and leg rest was in order aferwards.

My knee swells as well.

Yowzers!!!

That brings back some scary memories...only mine had more discoloration that day off and obvious bruising the day following and the weeks following and the constant kankle pain reminder the months following.

for me, my worse injuries: i have had tendinitis in my rt wrist so bad i can't even serve. even worse: june '06 i was playing vb and all i did was bump the ball and i tore my gastro muscle in rt leg. i stopped playing for a year.
now that i am playing again, my miniscis bothers me, my gastro still bothers me, now my achilles is bothering me. i've been to physical therapy, had xrays, even had a mri done. i've seen 2 orthepedics, both of them saying they can't say what's wrong with my leg. so it's been just about 2.5 years and my leg still hurts. it feels like a vice grip that won't let go/getting a permanent charley horse that won't go away. anybody know what kind of injury that ey had when she injured her right leg? it's very frustrating playing injured, it's one thing when injury heals, but 2.5 years later it's still hurting, plus 2 orthepedics can't tell me why that is. orthepedics did mention maybe scar tissue could be causing the pain? anybody ever hear of severe muscle injury taking so long to heal? dex2330@aim.com
