Have you heard... - 05-02-2006, 07:35 PM

...about that volleyball movie that they're coming out with? It's called "All You've Got" and it features Ciara. Go look it up if you haven't. I'm wondering right now if it's worth my time because this is probably the first I've ever heard of a volleyball movie, other than "Side Out".

Actually I'll post the link to the trailer...

PS..I didn't quite know what topic to post this under, so I went with this.

there was actually a volleyball movie in the new releases at the video store recently called "Cloud 9" featuring Burt Reynolds, Angie Everheart and Gabrielle Reese. Burt Reynolds was this sleazy enterprenuer in hollywood that decided to try to make money by combining stippers and beach volleyball......the movie was terrrible, I wouldn't recommend it.

If you play volleyball, you have to know that a hollywood/MTV movie made by non-players, will never be good enough.

But if you get a bunch of player friends, rent the video, make lots of popcorn, pizza and beverages of your choice, you can all have a great time looking for bad plays and bloopers.

oh, w0ngilicious, I think you need to rent a little movie called "Sideout". Being so young and naïve, you'll laugh at how funny the hats are and how cliché the movie is. But there's a moral to the story: beach volleyball kicks butt...and so did the 80's.

I'm a fan of the Top Gun scene too. But probably for other reasons... Haven't heard anything about any of these other movies though. Good thing my roomie has netflix.

Rent "Sideout".

At the very end, when this rookie is playing against AVP pros, he gets to win the title with the worst hand to hand side set. It is even in super slow motion so you see the ball leave one hand, then touch the other before going out for his partner to hit.
