So, I think that I need to find someone to take some more pictures of us playing. Maybe When there is some more action going on! Most of the picture are of us waiting to receive a serve.  Of course maybe if I had better digital camera I could take better pictures. hmmm Does this sound like justification to go blow $400 on a new camera??? Did the other pictures not come out or not get taken? My digi has a setting for action photos. Gotta love sport court... It's great to play on. Doesn't bend under your weight - slides are nice (IMO). Plus it's the only way to go, nationals always uses it! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a nice wood floor, but sports court is the next best thing. No extra lines draw on it - all of it is the same. NewEnglandRT - Wow, you brought back some memories. I know EXACTLY where that gym is. We had to travel there way back in high school to play the Huskies volleyball team. Good times - however I remember that place being pretty freaken cold... Bad for setting hands ;\ |

Ya, More pics of us! That would be fun. Then we can see what we look like playing. Ya, the court is cold in the winter, but come late spring, BOY! It gets really hot in that gym |

Actually it's CT Juniors who use that gym as their home court. Husky VB is more the north part of the state... I'm not sure where home court is for them. I can't agree on the sport court thing though. You lose energy on it, and height. I don't think you slide very well on it at all... I've got the scars on my calf to prove it! As for lines... our gym uses the same courts for hockey, hoops, and even badmitten.... let me tell you the badmitten lines really f' us up. Glenn had a good idea though, just buy some lightweight florescent tape and recover the vb lines before matches... that'll drive management nuts but it'll work! www.yankee.org www.ctsportscenter.com My VBLI Blog If you play in CT or you'd like to click here!
