So when reviewing the rules, I came up with some questions....
In a coed team it specifies that only one player must be of the opposite sex, does this apply to 4's and 6's? Usually in 4's it's 2 and in 6's it's 2 or 3.
Also is there an opposite sex touch rule, ie: does a player of each sex have to contact the ball on each rally of 2 hits or more?
There's no switching permitted of back row players? That's strange
Other than that, it's all good. | | | | | | | | Super Moderator

There are three questions here: - There is a minimum of one woman on the court at all time, for any co-ed team. Are thinking about indoor fours or sixes?. After some great thought it was thought that a one woman requirement was the only restriction for grass that should be imposed.
- There is no reverse gender touch rules, i.e. no two men can touch the ball before it is passed over the net. Normal player passing regardless of gender applys.
- "There's no switching permitted of back row players?" Where is this again?
Regards,

Hmm, I can't seem to find it this time around. I seem to remember seeing it say that switching of front frow players is ok, but not for back row. Which was weird to me as my team almost always rotates the better passers into the 2/3 positions. Oh well. If it ain't there, it ain't there. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
