My ex would always get Jealous, she swore I was interested in all the female players, which is absurd, only the more pretty ones

. I think this was part of the problem. It's usually OK if all the factors are in order.

One Tip: Don't date a NON VB Player and bring her to games when your female teammates are more attractive, at least to her. BIG MISTAKE!

My ex got upset when I was playing on a co-ed league because I played three times a week that Fall. He was not into Volleyball and he was hard to communicate with. Especially since I was still going to college.

Broke up with him, got my motorcycle license, bought a 600cc sports bike, went to the beach with my Volleyball to play doubles and this was all in the same week. Needless to say if you do not have things you love in common then it will not work.

My moto is "Accept me for who I am, as I am"....no one is perfect.

Volleyball rules and you need someone to love what you love all the way. Hard to find but worth the wait.

Give me a man who just grabs me and kisses me like the end is near anyday!

I tend to date the volleyball players who are not only players on the court, but players off the court! lol But thats just my luck! haha I hope to someday find a nice guy who also plays volleyball so he understands my love of playing in tournaments and leagues as he will be doing the same! :-)

Do you think that players are players or has it just been your run of luck?

I don't think you necessarily need someone that specifically plays volleyball in order for it to work out. You just need to find someone that has their own passion for some kind of activity that they spend a lot of time doing... that's the key.

Gotta guy in my beach group, his wife rides horses and brings their spaniels to dog shows. It pretty much fills her weekends while he's away at the beach. They always seem happy together when I see them. I totally envy him for having a wife like that.

oooo, now THAT'S a great topic.

isn't it strange how often those two traits are connected? personally, i've found that volley-guys either get screwed a lot because they're so loyal to women or, get screwed a lot because they're not.

Usually even guys can be hurt as well so they put their defenses up. Sometimes you have to be just as patient with them as they have to us. Though players do need to be put in their place quite often. If they want time with you they will make time.

Till then play Volleyball till you are blue and Happy Hour it up.
