2-25/26 USVBA Men's and Women's B & BB Tournaments at Siena College, Loudonville, NY

There is a USVBA 10 Team Men's and 10 Team Women's BB tournament scheduled for February 25, 2006 at Siena College. Any team registered with USVBA is welcome to enter and one day registrations forms are available ($10 per person) if you need to bring people not registered. The cost is $140 per team. Please email me at beaker_1427@yahoo.com for availability, the address to send the check and who to make the check out to. Only a check will hold a spot for the tournament.

Maybe a dumb question but is USVBA the same as USVB? If not which one is the actual national governing body? Also if I have player who are members of a regional district does that count as being a member for the purposes of this tournament?

For the first question: They are the same group I believe.

For the second question: You'd have to ask the USVBA commision.

Yes they are the same body...I get the acronym mixed up all the time.

For your second question the region that the tournaent is in is IREVA. If you are registered in another region (say NERVA, WEVA, KRVA or GEVA etc.) I believe that you are all set. We will just need to have your players registration numbers with your entry form. I will confirm this for each case though so just drop me an email if you're interested in putting in a team.

Just to let everyone know the BB Tournament is filling up pretty quick. Only 5 spots open for Mens and 7 for women. If you are interested in putting in a team let me know soon to ensure a spot.
