Hello I'm Selin and I come from Turkey. I've been playing volleyball since I was 14 years old. Until 18 I was in the volleyball team of my high school, then when I went to college I was both in my college team and in my club team. I have graduated this summer and moved to New York. I'm looking for a team or group to practice with. I don't know how it works here in the states.

Can anybody briefly describe me the basic volleyball team concept of NY? I played in the middle in all of my teams.

Where in new york are you located? What school (high school and college) did you play for?

Hello Selin,
If you want to play on a team, start playing in local leagues. Just show up.If your a good player, people will ask you to play in different games on different teams. I'm starting a league on the north shore of long island (locust Valley).Some great players go there. If you want I can get you started on a possible team.I might be able to hook you up with someone who plays on a traveling team.It all depends on your level and how far you want to take it.

i ebvelive we may might be looking for people to put a team in for serg's league....so if your not far form long island maybe we can work something out
