Divisions: 2s and 3s are for higher skilled players with tournament level abilities. 4s for intermediate to competitive players (teams can be any gender from 4 males to 4 females). Competitive sixes (C6s, coed with a 2:1 M:F ratio) are for intermediate level players. Recreational sixes (R6s, coed with a 2:1 M:F ratio) are for beginning players. Teams may be moved between divisions during season based on record and captain's requests, subject to league director's discretion. Power Men’s 4s & Power Women’s 4s: For highest level league players, teams are all male or all female.

Fees based on 5 players for 4s, and 10 players for 6s; $20/additional player + AVPNext membership. Fee includes league play, championship tournament, AVPNext Memberships: $10/player; required of all players. Membership covers 1 calendar year from 1/1 to 12/31

Doubles Tournament Discount: League players may compete in any B Division doubles tournament (men or women’s B on Sat., Coed B on Sundays) for $10/player. Participate in tournament play every weekend all summer long.

Directions: (enter 1 Riverside Blvd, Long Beach, NY 11561 into Mapquest for a map to site)

From Long Island: Southern State Pkwy to Meadowbrook Pkwy south to Loop Pkwy. Right at end onto Lido Blvd (changes to Park Ave) Left at Riverside Blvd to ocean, free parking.
From Verrazano Bridge: Take Belt Parkway (Shore Pkwy) east towards Eastern LI and JFK airport. Near airport get off at Nassau Expressway (Rte 878) exit. Take Nassau Expressway, which becomes Rockaway Blvd (Follow signs for Long Beach or Atlantic Beach Bridge) to Rte 878. Go over Atlantic Beach Bridge and make left onto Park St/Beech St. Go through commercial section and make right on New York Ave. Make left on Broadway. Go 2 miles to Riverside Blvd. Make right to tournament site at boardwalk.
Post-play Parties: Each night after play we encourage players to attend the after-play party. Party Schedule will be announced

Championships: All R4s, C4s and 6s teams will play off at the Long Island Beach Volleyball Championships Sept. in E. Quogue. 3s teams can play in 4s championships. Teams with player overlap in 2 leagues or short players may combine for championships subject to EEVB approval. All teams are encouraged to attend league championship party in Sept. and participate in 13th Annual Bud Light Float Walkathon. Do not miss this fun final day of the beach volleyball season!

Team names: Will be assigned by EEVB. Leagues are partially funded by local businesses that lend their name to our program. Any team desiring its own sponsor's name will be charged $100 in addition to regular team fee.
