"Jones Beach Annual Volleyball Tournament".LIVA is a sponsor of this "most excellent" tournament and it is open to all our Coed 6 person and 4 person teams for free. It is a 2 day tournament and will take place on Sat. July 23rd and the finals will be held on Sun. July 24th. Start time for the first round of teams is 9AM. The tournament is held directly across from our volleyball courts on the beach. Everyone who participates will receive a free T-shirt and other merchandise sponsored by LIVA and Vytra Health Care. There will be cash prizes for the 1st and 2nd place teams in both the 6's and 4's divisions. 3rd and 4th place teams will get additional merchandise. Please do not call or email LIVA to register, as it is run by the excellent staff at Jones Beach. To register: Contact Jones Beach at 631-669-1000 and ask for extension 247. Ask for Mary Dunning (who is organizing this tournament) and tell here you play in LIVA leagues and she will register your team for free. You can also pick up registration forms down at that shack on our volleyball courts. This tournament fills up fast, so call Mary first to reserve your team spot. |
