PLAYING ON SHORT COURT WITH ANTENNAE THIS YEAR!


Team Signup or Individual Signups Accepted for ALL Tournaments
Signup up with your own team, OR....


NO TEAM?: Individual signups accepted for all tournaments, then placed in "round-robin" pool play.

What is "round-robin" draw pool play?
ANSWER: You play with and against everyone in your pool. The top 2 teams (which are the top 4 players) then progress to playoffs. You'll stay with the same partner throughout playoffs.

Starting Times


All tournaments start at 10:00 am
Check-in time is from 9:30 - 9:55 am.
Tournament Locations


All grass tournaments are conducted at Heartwell Park in Long Beach: MAP
Divisions

"A" division, which is upper level play
"B" division, which is lower than "A" )
Rules
Grass and beach tournaments will use USA Volleyball 2006 Beach/Grass Rules, this includes short court, antennae, rally score, etc.

You can register at the tournament (please try to call before you come, in case the tournament is full), online, or by calling 562-987-3330
Signup with your own team or signup individually.

Team Registration Fees
REGISTRATION Entry Fees:

Grass 2's: $30 per team
Grass 4's: $50 per team (Maximum of 4 per roster)
Individual Signup: $20 per person
Prizes and Bottled Water
Prizes are awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams.
2006 Tournament Prizes Include:
Smack Sportswear (Board shorts, t's, and hats)
WearEver Backpack Chairs
Additional prizes after receiving 2006 allotment from sponsors )
All tournaments have free cold bottled water.

Father/Daughter less than 15 (father's hitting at ~10 foot line)

Mentor* and girl/boy 15 or older
Mentor* and girl/boy less than 15 (mentor's hitting at ~10 foot line)
*Mentor could be a relative, friend of the family, or coach. The mentor should be the same age, or older, as the girl/boy's father.
NOTE: If we have room, we'll put in Mother/Son and Mother/Daughter combinations. Please email me for this.
