Coed Volleyball class starts TUE 11/29/05, Santa Clara Hope you had a nice Thankgiving! Feeling a little stuffed after that holiday dinner? Then come on out and join us for a 10-session volleyball class that begins Tuesday, Nov. 29th, 2005. Yes, this Tuesday! Come out and join us for some casual play volleyball. This is a fun and relaxed way to get some good exercise; I would categorize it as beginner to low intermediate. In fact, beginners are welcome!
The term "class" is a little misleading. Although some instruc- tion is provided as needed, each week we begin with a little bit of warm-up at 7:45, and then we break up into teams to spend the majority of each class in competitive, yet low-key, games. Depending on the number of people that show up for a specific evening, we play with anywhere from three to six players on a side. The class runs to 9:45, but we usually finish out our games after that time.
So if you are looking for a nice environment in which to get some regular exercise and make some new friends, come along and sign up for this 10-week session of volleyball play. The class is held at the Adult Education Center/ Educational Options located at 1840 Benton Street. Jim Wilkes will be our coach again. Invite your friends too!
