Regional HP Beach Clinics only utilize the top named professional players as instructors. Instructors are ranked AVP and/or FIVB pros, with their background in collegiate, national, or professional indoor/beach experience. Regional HP Beach Clinics maintain a maximum 8:1 participant-to-instructor ratio.

HP Clinic Format (10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.):
Session 1: 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., "Individual Beach Skills"
Passing footwork for the beach
Setting a hit-able ball in all conditions
Serving strategies for all weather situations
Defensive positioning, how to cover the whole court
Attacking options for all situations
"Lunch With The Pros" 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Lunch provided by Alfredo's Sunsets on the Beach)
Session 2: 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., "Team Drills, Strategy, and Competition"
When to block, when to pull
Team defense and balancing the court
Hitting on two, when, how, and why
Serving and blocking strategies to control the opposition
“King/Queen of the Hill” timed competition
Open Play and Private Instruction (3:30 - 4:30 p.m.):
Open Play: Grab a partner and stick around for Open Play after class to try out your new skills on another team!
Private Instruction: Private one-on-one instruction is also available after each session during our Open Play period (Based on instructor availability. Please EMAIL me.)
Who Can Attend:
18 and under: Players who were born on or after January 1, 1988 or Players who were born on or after January 1, 1987 and a high school student during some part of the current academic year
16 and under: Players who were born on or after January 1, 1990
14 and under: Players who were born on or after January 1, 1992
12 and under: Players who were born on or after January 1, 1994
SCVA (USA Volleyball) and AVPNext Membership Information:
All participants must have a 2006 USA Volleyball and AVPNext membership.
SCVA (USA Volleyball) Membership
If you're currently playing club, you already have a current USA Volleyball membership.
2006 USA Volleyball beach membership is $20.

If mailing in your tournament registration, please include completed AVPNext and SCVA applications with separate checks payable to each.
We will have both membership applications at the tournament too.
When:
Two sessions are available with limited space:
Sunday, March 19th, 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 22nd, 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
IMPORTANT:
If it is raining at 10:00 a.m. the clinic will be cancelled. You will be credited accordingly to attend the next Regional HP Beach Clinic scheduled for April 22, 2006, or refunded.

All clinics will be conducted at Alfredos Sunsets on the Beach in Long Beach (Belmont Shore). Click HERE for a map and driving directions
Cost:
Your $105 registration fee includes:
5 hours of professional instruction from our AllPro Staff, with an 8:1 athlete-to-instructor ratio or less!
"Lunch With The Pros" (Lunch provided by Alfredo's Sunsets on the Beach)
1 hour of Open Play after each session
The opportunity to get private one-on-one instruction from some of the top players in the world! (Based on instructor availability)
Individual Rate: $105 per individual
Group Rate (4-7 participants): $95 per individual
Team Rate (8 or more participants): $85 per individual
Private One-On-One Instruction: $50 per hour. For more information on private one-on-one instruction please EMAIL me.

Four choices for registering:

Mail a check for the appropriate amount payable to Float Serve Volleyball and a completed Registration Form.
Call Bill at (562) 987-3330 and leave your phone number and name, and I'll call you back and register you by phone
Email Bill and include the info from the Registration Form
Registration deadline: The Friday at 12 noon before each clinic
