Starlings Volleyball Club-Oakland is looking for coaches. If you have ever considered coaching volleyball, and enjoy working with youth, give us a call! Starlings runs an affordable volleyball program and we are looking for coaches to teach the proper fundamentals of the game. Starlings is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization so all positions are volunteer (although a stipend may be available at season's end). Qualifications- Must be reliable, positive, and enthusiastic. Volleyball playing experience is mandatory-high school, college, club, or higher. Coaching experience and first aid CPR is a plus but not required. We offer training & certifications. Job Description– You will be working with girls, ages 8-18, demonstrating proper volleyball fundamentals, officiating games, and assisting with tournaments. Requires a commitment for 2 two-hour practices per week and 1 or 2 weekend tournaments per month (Mar-Jun).
