The U.S. Youth Volleyball League is looking for Site Directors & Volleyball Instructors! Torrance, CA, January 13, 2006 The United States Youth Volleyball League is hiring Volleyball Instructors (Clinicians) for their programs in San Jose & San Luis Obispo. This is a great opportunity to work with the youth in promoting their confidence and self-esteem while sharing with them the sport of Volleyball! Applicants must be great with kids, be experienced volleyball players (or have coaching experience), dependable, and enthusiastic. The eight-week programs will kick off early April and end in June 2006. The programs will run one day during the week and Saturdays - availability must include all week day and Saturday meetings throughout the duration of the program. Compensation is included. The USYVL is also in need of a volunteer to be the Site Director for their programs in Arroyo Grande, Bakersfield, Los Gatos, Mountain View, & Santa Cruz. The responsibilities of the Site Director are to oversee the site, players and volunteers, and to act as the liaison to the main office. This is a fun and exciting way to interact with the youth in the community while promoting and developing the sport of volleyball. Volunteers do not have to have volleyball experience, but must be available for the entire eight week program. The programs will run one day during the week and Saturdays from early April to early June. The USYVL is an instructional volleyball league that operates in a coed format for boys and girls ages 8-14. The organization's mission is to provide every child with a chance to learn and play volleyball in a safe, supervised, low-pressure environment.
