5. Hotel & Travel Info:
http://www.eevb.net/travel.htm
EEVB will be running a travel survey at all Florida tournaments this year to obtain information that will help us get lower hotel rates and more local sponsorship. Every year I am told that volleyball players do not generate many hotel room sales and local retail/restaurant dollars. We all know this is not true. To combat this we will ask all players to fill out a survey sheet during registration. We need as many players as possible to fill out the form fully. Please do not embellish or otherwise falsify this data. Accurate completion by all players will give us all the information we need to help get better deals for all players. You can fill out the form ahead of time by downloading it at
www.eevb.net/playersurvey.doc
We have a very special rate in Miami Beach at the Biscaya Hotel: $71/night. The Biscaya will run a shuttle bus to the tournament site in the morning. Please book early before rooms run out. Remember that you can always cancel a reservation but you cannot get a room if they are all gone.
