I put together a team to play in the Sunday league at the Gold Coast Multiplex and have been gratified by the quality of competition and the level of organization. The league attracted nine team and through two weeks of play it appears that the field is pretty well balanced. No team has swept its matches. There are only a couple of USAV AA-quality male players in the league, but there seem to be plenty of guys capable of competing at the BB or A level. There are only a handful of females on the nine teams, but none appear overmatched. |
