AVP Myspace Contest

Hey ya'll. Amy here, Moderator for the Misty May Yahoo Fan Group. http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/mistymay/

Jeff and I have some great news! We have started something HUGE
at this group to kick off the start of the 2006 AVP season
and we want all of you to get involved! We have been talking directly
with the AVP and are currently holding a contest here that will hopefully
lead to a growing fan base for the AVP and it's athletes.

Thanks to the AVP, we will have some AMAZING and EXCLUSIVE prizes for
the top 3 winners. The premise of the contest is as follows: We want
you guys to create a My Space page dedicated to Misty or Kerri, any
other favorite player of your choice (male or female), or the AVP as
a whole. Jeff and I will choose the 10 best ones. Then we will hold a
poll here at the Misty group so everyone can vote on their favorites.
The top 3 with the most votes will win prizes ranging in value, and
to be announced. We will also use the winner's page as one of the
main centers for AVP fans. We will be happy to help the winner
maintain the page.

The idea behind this contest is to spread the word about the AVP and
all it's talented athletes. Of course, the more pages we create, the
better. Keep in mind that you do NOT need to be a MySpace expert to
enter and that you are allowed to enter as many pages in the contest
as you want, not only one!

The AVP will promote the winning page as will we here at the Misty
Yahoo group. This is a great opportunity to win some cool prizes and
to help out the AVP as well. We hope everyone gets involved!

Our AVP MySpace contest is now officially over. Thanks to the AVP for making it all possible. It was fun! Also thanks to all who entered and made the effort to create a page. The top five entries listed below will be in the running to win the Grand Prize! The members of this group will vote here in the Polls section from April 15th-April 20th and the person with the highest total number of votes will win the Grand Prize.
To the other members of this group who did not partake in the contest...PLEASE take a minute to check out each MySpace page and vote for the one you feel is the best!
