Questions about Atlanta, any tips? - 02-21-2006, 02:38 PM

I'm going to be going to see the AVP tourney in Atlanta. I was wondering if someone who's been to an AVP tourney could answer a few questions.

Does anybody recommend a certain spot in the stands for a good view? We're in general admission.

Do they let you bring in a cooler?

Will they let you bring in a bag for suntan lotion, towel, etc.?

any tips on finding a good hotel for cheap?

They have day (9am-6pm) and night (7:30pm-10pm) sessions now, does anyone know which is better?

If anyone had anymore info or tips I would appreaciate it.

Thanks,
Michael

When deciding day or night sessions, keep in mind the time of year, hi temps, and most likely chance of rain. Here in Florida it usually starts raining between 3 and 4, and finishes around 7.

Thanks for the info. I'm interested to see what the night sessions are. The AVP website says they last till 10 pm. I guess I'll see when I get there.
Any more tips would be appreciated.

Thanks again,
Michael
