East End Volleyball is running the 1st Annual $3000 Mid Winter Classic at Club V in Clearwater, FL on January 12-13, 2008.
ALL PRIZE MONEY IS GUARANTEED REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY TEAMS PLAY
Club V is a fully lighted outdoor beach volleyball facility.
Men’s Open Format:
• $2500 prize money: 1st $900, 2nd $450, 3rd $300 (2 teams), 5th $175 (2 teams), 7th $100 (2 teams)
• $100 entry fee
• Double elimination cross-over format with top 4 teams returning on Sunday at 11 am
Women’s Open Format:
• $500 prize money
• $60 entry fee
• Double elimination if more than 12 teams register, pool play otherwise
Other divisions offered: Men’s & Women’s AA, A & B, Coed Open, A & B, Junior Boys and Junior girls
• $60 per team
• Pool play followed by single elimination playoffs
• merchandise prizes awarded

The goal of this program is to create a large mid-winter volleyball tournament for players in all divisions. We expect that a lot of teams from throughout the country will attend making for a fun event with a wide range of players you do not normally compete against. Keep in mind that Club V only has 18 courts which we expect to fill up. PLEASE PRE-REGSISTER TO GUARANTEE YOUR SPACE.

1/12-13/08: $3,000 Club V Big Shot Volleyball (Men’s Open $2,500, Women’s Open $500)
2/2-3/08
Times: Saturday check in at 8 to 8:30 am
Sunday 9 to 9:30 am
Divisions: Divisions in red will offer prize money
Sat: MO ($500), WO ($500), MAA, MA, MB, WAA, WA, WB
Sun: CO, CA, CB & MAA, Junior doubles (for boys and girls 18 & under and 15 & under)
4-player (any gender) & Coed 6s (minimum 1 female)
Prize Money Breakdown
Notes: Divisions with less than 8 teams may be merged with other divisions at tournament director’s discretion
Merged divisions will still have playoff for Grand Prix pts.
Prizes awarded to top 4 teams in each division (3 teams in divisions with less than 8 teams
MO, MAA, MA, MB, WO, WAA, WA all receive EEVB Championship Pool Pts.
Format: Men’s Open double elimination AVP Cross Over
All other divisions: Pool play, followed by single elimination playoffs.
Fees: Doubles $60/team (MO $100 on 1/12-13/08)
4-player teams $75, 6-players $75
No Parking fees at Club V!!!
AVPNext Memberships: $10/player; required of all players. Membership covers 1 calendar year from 1/1 to 12/31, AVPNext online registration, then bring your new membership confirmation email to the registration table
