Love and Money Lures American Players Overseas to PlayLove for the game of volleyball, plus an opportunity to be paid well just for playing, has lured the top players in the United States overseas for years. The 2005-06 professional season is no exception. Nearly 150 American athletes received transfers to play for foreign volleyball clubs during this current professional season, including a majority of the USA Men's and Women's National Teams. MORE

USA Women to Travel to Italy for Series of Club MatchesThe USA Women's National Volleyball Training Team departs for Italy on Saturday, March 18, to compete in a series of friendly matches against five European club teams. Team USA will play eight matches against five teams in four cities from March 22-April 2. Four of the matches will be against Conegliano, a Serie A2 team in the Italian League. The Americans will also play single matches against three Serie A1 Italian League teams. MORE
