The forecast for Saturday February 4th, 2006 is for sunny skys and 59 degrees for a high with only a 20% chance of precipitation.

That's not hot, but it's not cold either. Therefore, I'm asking folks to come out and enjoy open play for $2/person on 5 available courts this Saturday.

All levels welcome, balls provided, challenge and open play courts available.


If my old training partner (Blake Newman) shows up, we will go through a 45-75 minute warm-up routine that will include movement, pepper, stretching, and warm-up hitting. If you wish to join us, don't be shy - just get a partner and ask to join in.


I'd like to see people show-up around 11:30am so we can get rollin' by noon or 12:30. No Coolers! No outside food or drink! PLEASE!


Please send a reply email, so I have a clue of how many to expect.

The sun is up till nearly 6pm, so we can play for a while.


Remember, leagues start the week of March 20. I've gotten some 6 person registrations in, so get your team(s) entered in the league you want for 1st session ASAP. I just need completed registration forms for now. $ needs to be in by the time you play your first match. See www.citybeachokc.com for what leagues are on which nights and for pricing.

Also, our first local doubles tourney is March 4th, so get ready for that and check the tourney schedule while you're at the website, so you can plan your competition dates this summer. Many different types of events are available.
