North Beach Volleyball - Seattle is proud to announce the first annual April Fools Indoor Beach Volleyball Tournament on April 1, 2006.

Men's 2's

Maximum 16 teams 4 pools of 4 teams random draw (to be drawn on March 27 at 730pm at North Beach)

9am - Pools 1 & 2 play
Noon - Pools 3 & 4 play
3pm - Single elimination bracket. Seeding based on results of pool play.

Format
All games are to 25 points with a cap of 30 points.
Pool Play: 30 minutes are allotted for warm up AND to play each game. The team with the most points at the end of the 30 minutes will be declared the winner. In case of a tie at the buzzer, one last serve will be allowed.
Single Elimination Tournament: First and second rounds will be one game to 25 points similar to pool play. The third round and the championship match will be best 2 out of 3 games.

Entry fee is $65 per team
Registrations will be accepted starting at 8:00am on Thursday, 3/23

Referees: During pool play, one team will be designated to ref each game. For the first round of the single elimination tournament, the reffing assignements will be determined by random draw. For the second round, the winning team that won the previous game will stay to ref the next game on the same court.

Prizes: $200 cash prize, trophy and championship t-shirts for first place, picture on website and on North Beach Wall of Fame, and additional prizes to be determined based on sponsorship.
